Brian Slusser

Director Of Avalanche Mitigation at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows

Brian Slusser has extensive work experience in the outdoor recreation industry. Brian started their career in 1993 as the Director of Avalanche Mitigation at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, where they managed a team of 30 patrollers and various staff members. Their responsibilities included snow safety, risk management, CPR and OEC training, avalanche rescue training, explosives training, and scheduling. In 1997, Brian became the owner and guide at Four Seasons Fly Fishing. Their role involved leading and guiding fishing trips for clients.

Brian Slusser has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Central Washington University. Brian also holds an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Applied Arts degree from Wenatchee Valley College, with a major in General Studies and a specialization in Ski Area Management.
