Evan Lawley

Evan Lawley is an experienced outdoor and educational professional with a strong background in geography and natural resource management. Currently serving as a Whitewater Adventure Guide at Irie Rafting Company since April 2015, Evan has led over 100 trips on class III+ rivers and possesses extensive experience in snow sports as an Experienced Snowmaker at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and a Children's Ski Instructor at Northstar at Tahoe. Previous roles include working as a Forestry Technician for the US Forest Service and the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, as well as involvement in restoration projects with the California Tahoe Conservancy. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Geography from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the same institution. Additionally, Evan's military training includes certifications in leadership and aircraft electrical systems from the US Army, enhancing skills in team collaboration and technical expertise.
