Lou Durano

Lou Durano is an experienced professional with a background in both skiing instruction and business ownership. Currently serving as a Ski Instructor at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort since February 2015, Lou also owns Durano Apartments since May 1998 and previously operated L.W. Durano Insurance until June 2017. Additional ski instruction experience includes a role at Vail Resorts and a position as a Snowcat Guide at Homewood Mountain Resort. Lou's earlier career includes managerial roles with Lansa, Inc. and Synon, Inc., focusing on Latin America. Lou holds an MBA in International Business, Finance, and Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago and is a Level 2 Certified Ski Instructor through PSIA-W.
