Matthew Beals

Matthew Beals is an experienced professional in the outdoor sports and fitness industry, currently serving as a Retail Specialist, Bootfitter, and Ski Tech at Tahoe Mountain Sports since June 2020. Additionally, Matthew has held the position of Ski School Instructor at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort since February 2020, previously working as Rentals & Demo Tech during the 19-20 season. Prior experience includes roles such as Backpacking and Climbing Guide at Sports Basement Outdoors, Rentals Lead and Junior Bootfitter at Sports Basement, and Coach and On-Ramp Instructor at Grassroots Crossfit. Matthew has also been involved in educational roles, serving as a Summer Camp Instructor with Trackers Earth and as a Partner and Head Fitness Trainer at OKC North. Matthew's background includes a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese Herbology from Yo San University and a Bachelor's degree in Dance from Pomona College.
