Alexander Wälchli

Alexander Wälchli's work experience began in 2010 at Credit Suisse, where they worked as a Computer Scientist System Engineer Apprentice until 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Working Student in the Bid Management Team at Atos for a few months. Alexander then joined ETH Zürich as a Teaching Assistant from September to December 2017, and later from February to June 2018. In 2019, Alexander became a Business Development Manager at Digt AG, a position they held until July 2020. Finally, in 2016, they co-founded Alpine White, a dental health company that aims to provide comprehensive products and treatment options.

Alexander Wälchli has a diverse education history. From 2010 to 2014, they attended Berufsmaturitätsschule Zürich, where they earned a Professional Baccalaureate with a Technical Profile. Following this, from 2014 to 2015, they attended Kantonale Maturitätsschule für Erwachsene (KME) and completed a Passerelle, which is equivalent to the Swiss Federal Maturity (Eidgenössische Matura) program, lasting for one year.

In 2016, Alexander enrolled at ETH Zürich, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Alexander remained at ETH Zürich until 2020, completing their degree in Computer Science. During their time at ETH Zürich, Alexander also had an exchange semester in 2019 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Alexander Wälchli continued their education at the University of Zürich from 2020 to 2021, where they pursued a Master of Advanced Studies UZH in European and Chinese Business Management, graduating with the highest honors, summa cum laude.

In addition to their formal education, Alexander also obtained two certifications in English proficiency. In 2016, they earned the BEC Higher (Business Higher) certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment. In 2017, they obtained the CPE (Certificate Proficiency in English) certification, also from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
