Antje Kanngiesser

Antje Kanngiesser is the current CEO at Alpiq Energia Italia. Prior to this, they were a member of the executive board and vice president of group markets and services at BKW AG from February 2014 to February 2021. From January 2014 to December 2018, they were a member of the regulatory board at BX Swiss. In this role, they were responsible for the admission, obligations, and exclusion of participants and traders, as well as the organization of trading and the listing or admission to trading of securities and other financial instruments.

From May 2018 to December 2020, Kanngiesser served on the board of directors for Société des Forces Électriques de la Goule SA (SEG). From March 2018 to May 2021, they served as vice chair of the board of directors for AEK Onyx AG. Antje has also served on the board of Electricité d'Emosson from June 2013 to June 2014 and as deputy chairman of the board of directors for Energie Electrique du Simplon from June 2013 to June 2014.

Antje Kanngiesser has an EMBA from IMD, a Ph.D. from the University of Regensburg, and a law degree from the University of Göttingen. Antje also has certification from the Swiss Board School in VR Training and the IMD Business School in Executive Master of Business Administration.
