Sumit Sarna

Sumit Sarna is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in trading within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Proprietary Trader at Alpiq since May 2025, Sumit previously held the position of Senior Trader at Priogen Energy from May 2019 to March 2025. Prior to that, Sumit worked at EDF Trading for over a decade, starting as a Power Operator and advancing to the role of Senior Power Trader from September 2007 to May 2019. Sumit holds an MSc in International Finance from Kingston University, where studies were completed between 2006 and 2007.
