Busalire Emeka

Busalire Emeka, PhD, is a Cyber Security Research Engineer at ALPS ALPINE since November 2022. With a strong foundation in Computer and Information Sciences, Busalire earned a Ph.D. from Hosei University (2019-2023) focusing on Formal Engineering Methodologies for integrating functional and security requirements of RESTful web APIs. Previous roles include serving as a Technical Consultant for UN-Habitat, where Busalire led the development of the GLTN's Moodle-based e-learning portal, and as a Startup Mentor for the GIST Tech-I program under the U.S. Department of State. Additional experience includes positions as an Adjunct Computer Science Lecturer at Karatina University, a Graduate Intern at Caulis, and Innovation and Incubation Director at the Global Innovation Society of Kenya. Educational credentials include an MSc in Formal Methods in Software Security Requirements Engineering from Hosei University and a BSc in Computer Science from Moi University.
