Mathew Varner is an accomplished food service professional with extensive experience in culinary management. Currently serving as the Food Service Director at Egret Cove Center since October 2023, Mathew has also held the position of Quality Assurance Manager at ALPS South since March 2022. Previously, Mathew was the Director of Dining Services and Executive Chef at The Goodman Group's Cypress Palms, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing dining operations. Additional experience includes roles as Executive Chef at Holiday Retirement and Doctor's Hospital of Sarasota, as well as Sous Chef at The Glenridge on Palmer Ranch and Misty Creek Country Club. Mathew's career highlights include menu development and providing exceptional dining experiences. Mathew holds a high school diploma from Shippensburg Senior High School.
