Alan Premasiri joined the ALS Therapy Development Institute in 2013. Alan graduated from Boston University with a degree in Neurobiology and is applying to medical school. At the Institute, he does anything and everything related to the ALS-associated gene C9orf72. Alan is driven to work at the ALS Therapy Development Institute not only for his love of research but also getting to meet inspiring people living with ALS and their families. Alan has ridden in the Tri-State Trek for two years alongside the ALS community.
