Andre Badalyan

Analyst at ALSA Ventures

Andre Badalyan is an analyst at ALSA Ventures. Prior to joining ALSA Ventures, Andre was a venture promoter at Start Codon, a leading European seed fund focusing on life science. Andre has also worked as an investment manager at Spinecap, focusing on medical diagnostics and equipment, and as an operations manager at Labstep, a SaaS start-up building the next generation lab execution tool. Andre began their career as a scientist at GSK, where they worked on small molecule drug discovery and development. Andre has also been a research affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they conducted research on proteomics.

Andre Badalyan began their educational career by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a Year in Industry from UCL. Andre then went on to obtain a Master of Philosophy in Bioscience Enterprise (MBE) from the University of Cambridge. After completing their MPhil, Andre Badalyan became a Visiting Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the field of Biochemistry. Andre has also obtained certification from the University of Pennsylvania in Introduction to Intellectual Property Law and Patent Law, as well as certification from Harvard University in Quantitative Methods for Biology. In addition, Andre Badalyan has obtained certification from the British Council in IELTS Academic.
