Katie Hernandez

Katie Hernandez is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in maintenance and operations management. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Alsco since December 2021, Katie oversees a team of engineers to enhance operational efficiency and maintain equipment in compliance with safety standards. Previously, as Maintenance Supervisor at Portland Specialty Baking from November 2018 to December 2021, Katie managed a maintenance team and coordinated workflows to ensure efficient food production. Katie's career also includes a role as Maintenance Mechanic at Boyd Coffee Company, where equipment troubleshooting and machinery optimization were key responsibilities, as well as serving in the US Navy as a Gas Turbine Technician Electrician, focusing on preventive and corrective maintenance of various engineering equipment. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain and Logistics Management at Oregon State University, expected to complete in June 2026.
