Christian Fortin is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in train performance and system engineering. Currently serving as the Train Performance Chief Engineer at Alstom since October 2018, Christian leads the technical development and integration of train systems while ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory performance requirements. Previous roles at Alstom include Team Lead for Train System Engineering and Vehicle Functional Engineer. Christian has also contributed to academia as a University Lecturer at Polytechnique Montréal, focusing on mechanical systems modeling. Prior engineering experience was gained at BOMBARDIER, where Christian specialized in hydro-mechanical systems and aircraft system simulation. Christian holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and a CEGEP degree in Pure & Applied Sciences from Collège André-Grasset.
