Robert McManus is an experienced Radio Frequency Engineer with over 29 years in the telecommunications industry. Currently employed at Alstom since March 2012, Robert designs and analyzes radio coverage networks for rail systems, including point-to-point microwave evaluations. Previously, Robert spent over 14 years at AT&T, enhancing GSM, UMTS, and LTE networks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing system performance. Robert’s career began at NEXTEL, where as one of the first five engineers, responsibilities included developing migration plans and optimizing Push-to-Talk networks. Robert holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan Technological University.
