Ward Gommeren

Ward Gommeren currently serves as Senior Director of Project Strategy in the Project Management Office for Off Shore Wind at GE Vernova, a role assumed in January 2022. With a robust background in the renewable energy sector, Gommeren has been with GE Renewable Energy since November 2015, previously holding the position of Senior Regional Sales Director for Off Shore Wind in the Benelux region. Gommeren’s extensive experience also includes leadership roles at Alstom Power and Alstom Belgium NV, where responsibilities spanned from Managing Director to Vice President in various capacities, including Global Power Sales. Earlier career experience includes a Director position in Business Development at ABB and a General Manager role in Power Generation Workshops. Gommeren holds a Post Graduate degree in Advanced Management from Vlerick Business School.
