Vanessa Lo Savio Dobson

Vanessa Lo Savio Dobson is an experienced Human Resources professional with over 23 years in the legal industry. Currently serving as the Human Resources Manager at Alston & Bird LLP since August 2010, Vanessa leads HR operations for the New York office, managing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and training. Previous roles include Human Resources & Attorney Hiring Manager and Attorney Hiring Manager at the same firm, where responsibilities included overseeing recruitment cycles and supervising HR coordinators. Prior experience includes serving as Firmwide Legal Recruiting Manager at McDermott Will & Emery LLP and Legal Recruiting Manager in Los Angeles, as well as serving on the Commission on Legal Recruiting for NALP, appointed by its President. Vanessa began their career as a Legal Recruiting Coordinator at Milbank LLP. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Pace University and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from The New School.
