Brad Liebmann

Brad Liebmann is the founder and CEO of alt.bank. Brad has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, including stints at Lehman Brothers and Simply Business.

Brad began their career at Lehman Brothers in 1991, working in technology mergers and acquisitions. Brad advised large companies on emerging technologies that could help them transform their businesses, and helped them acquire the companies they needed to implement those changes. In 2000, Brad left Lehman Brothers to start Simply Business, which pioneered the online sale of insurance to small businesses.

Under Brad's leadership, Simply Business grew to become Europe's leading direct online platform for commercial insurance, with over 500,000 customers. In 2017, Travelers purchased Simply Business for £400 million.

In 2018, Brad founded alt.bank, a company that is working to create a new kind of bank that is focused on serving the needs of small businesses and entrepreneurs. alt.bank is currently in the process of obtaining a banking license in the United Kingdom.

Brad Liebmann has an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business in finance and international business. Brad also has an MBA from the London Business School.
