Rachid Belaid

Rachid Belaid has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Rachid is currently the Director of Engineering - Growth & Analytics at ALT since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Opendoor from March 2016 to May 2022, holding various roles including Staff Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Database Administrator. Rachid also served as an Engineering Manager for Growth Engineering and Marketing/Ads platform Engineering at Opendoor. Before joining Opendoor, Rachid co-founded Lost Property and worked as a Co-Founder & Software Engineer from June 2013 to October 2015. Rachid was also the Director at Iron Braces from June 2011 to April 2014. Rachid has worked as a Lead Developer at Scoota, an Independent Contractor at Potato and Google, and as a Tech Lead at unit9. Rachid began their career as a Software Engineer at Star2Billing and later worked as an Analyst-Developer at Buy Way Personal Finance. Their areas of expertise include engineering management, analytics, database administration, and software development.

From 2001 to 2005, Rachid Belaid pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at UMONS.
