Emile Cohen

Emile Cohen is a product at Alt. Prior to joining Alt, Emile was a machine learning engineer at Nalia, where they created a web-app hosted on AWS for churn prediction and led the product design based on a user-focused iterative approach. Prior to their work at Nalia, Emile was a lead software engineer at Insula Investment Management, where they coded a Markowitz optimisation algorithm for main crypto tokens and created a data pipeline hosted on AWS for portfolio optimisation. Emile has also worked as a graduate research assistant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and as a junior data scientist at Dathena. In addition to their work in the tech industry, Emile has also served as president of Genius Ecole des Ponts, a position they held from September 2018 to December 2019.
