Jeff Hansen

Jeff Hansen began their work experience in 2001 as a Java Programmer for BYU TALL Group, where they developed foreign language-learning software. Jeff then joined Card Access, Inc. in 2005 as a Senior Design Engineer, where they designed and extended device drivers and network stacks for Linux and other embedded OSes. In 2004, Jeff became the Owner of RubySoft, a position they held until 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Numetric, focusing on full-stack Node.js web development. Jeff then joined Ubiquiti Networks in 2016 as a Principal Firmware Engineer, a role they held until 2022. Currently, they serve as the Chief Technology Officer at Alta Labs.

Jeff Hansen attended Brigham Young University from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
