Desislava Shtarbanova-Lee

Desislava Shtarbanova-Lee began their work experience in 2012 as a Research Analyst at AII Data Processing, where they worked until 2013. In 2014, they joined ALTA Language Services, Inc. as a Testing Coordinator and later transitioned to the role of Development Coordinator from 2016 to 2018. In their most recent position at ALTA, which they started in July 2018, they have been serving as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager, overseeing multi-language test development projects for government and private sector clients. Desislava'sresponsibilities include recruiting and training linguists for these projects, as well as coordinating and training linguists on new blueprints, test types, and item types.

Desislava Shtarbanova-Lee completed their education at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. Desislava earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arabic studies, which they pursued from 2006 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Applied Linguistics from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained additional certifications, including Six Sigma Green Belt from the Management & Strategy Institute in May 2023 and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in April 2023.
