Anthony Tran Cpa (Tony)

Anthony (Tony) Tran, CPA, MBA, is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Manager of Financial Reporting at Alta Mesa Resources since January 2013, where responsibilities include preparing periodic SEC filings and conducting technical accounting research. Tony has also held the position of Senior SEC Financial Reporting Analyst and has chaired the Financial Reporting/Tax Committee at the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies, Inc. (COPAS) since July 2014. Previous roles include Senior Financial Accountant at Legend Natural Gas LLC and Audit Senior at Grant Thornton LLP, where extensive experience with financial statements, GAAP compliance, and auditing procedures was gained. Tony holds an Executive MBA from Rice Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Houston.
