Nico Fitzgerald

Nico Fitzgerald is an experienced professional in the fields of recovery and outdoor adventure. Currently serving as the Experiential Program Manager at Alta Mira Recovery Programs since December 2017, Nico integrates a passion for recovery with the great outdoors. Prior to this role, Nico was the Program Director at High Watch Recovery Center, overseeing addiction treatment programs and applying modern medical breakthroughs to the teachings of Alcoholics Anonymous. Earlier in their career, Nico worked as a DGA Assistant Director for major film studios, managing productions and ensuring safety for large crews. Nico's journey began as a white water rafting and sea kayaking guide, leading adventure trips across several countries. Educational credentials include a BA in Political Science from UCLA and a Multiple Subject ESL Teaching Credential from Saint Mary's College of California.
