Austin Dunn

Austin Dunn, PLA, currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Iowa State University, a position held since August 2022. Dunn is also an Associate Landscape Architect I at Alta Planning + Design, where work began in May 2023, following a prior role as Designer from July 2019 to July 2022. Previous experience includes a Lectureship at Iowa State University, positions as a Graduate Research Assistant, and internships with the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and the City of Brookings, OR. Educational qualifications include a Master of Landscape Architecture and Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and International Studies from the University of Iowa.
