Elizabeth Yarnall

Elizabeth Yarnall, AICP, is an experienced planner currently serving as an Associate Planner at Alta Planning + Design since May 2021. Previously, Elizabeth worked as a Transportation Planner at AECOM from June 2016 to May 2021, where contributions included traffic engineering, transportation planning, data collection, spatial analysis, and public outreach. Elizabeth holds a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where the thesis focused on the built environment of open streets routes. Prior roles encompass economic development project coordination at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center and research assistance at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Educational background includes a B.S. in Public Health with emphasis on Environmental Science and Engineering, alongside international experience in Bangkok, Thailand.
