Karl Fortier

Karl Fortier has an extensive background in multimedia journalism and social media, currently serving as a Social Media Specialist at Alta Resources since January 2020. Prior to this, Karl worked at Fox 4 News from May 2011 to August 2019 as a Multimedia Journalist and Videojournalist, producing and editing video for news stories. Earlier experience includes roles as a Photographer at WLNS, where Karl shot and edited news and sports videos, and as an Instructor at Lansing Community College, teaching digital video production. Additional roles include a News Photographer at WWMT and a Photojournalist at WWTV 9&10. Karl holds a B.A. in Communications from Western Michigan University.
