Alta Ski Area
Becca Fenander, MS, CCC-SLP, is a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist and owner of Move Play Talk! since December 2011, providing home and community-based speech and language evaluation and therapy services for children from birth through school age. With significant experience as a ski patroller since 1994 at Alta Ski Area, Becca combines skills in emergency first aid and avalanche safety with a passion for children's language development. Previous roles include supervising master's level students at the University of Utah Speech Language Hearing Clinic, co-creating Earth Warriors, a mindfulness camp for children, and providing bilingual early intervention services at various organizations, including Jordan Child Development Center and Dynamic Partners. Becca holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Haverford College.
Alta Ski Area
Alta is a ski area in the western United States, located in the town of Alta in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in Salt Lake County. With a skiable area of 2,614 acres, Alta's base elevation is 8,530 ft and rises to 11,068 ft for a vertical gain of 2,538 ft.
