Alta Ski Area
Spencer Dillon is a certified ski instructor at Alta Ski Area since November 2017 and has accumulated diverse experience in both outdoor leadership and legal sectors. Notable legal positions include roles as a law clerk at the Cottonwood Environmental Law Center and a research clerk at the University of Utah Office of General Counsel. Spencer served as a legal intern at the State of Utah Public Land Policy Coordinating Office. Prior to legal work, Spencer worked as a lead alpine and ski guide at SWS Mountain Guides and International Alpine Guides, and held various roles in outdoor education and operations management at Tahoe Expedition Academy. Spencer holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in History with a focus on Medieval and Renaissance Studies from Carleton College.

Alta is a ski area in the western United States, located in the town of Alta in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in Salt Lake County. With a skiable area of 2,614 acres, Alta's base elevation is 8,530 ft and rises to 11,068 ft for a vertical gain of 2,538 ft.
