Mohamad Islahi

Mohamad Islahi, FCA, MBA, currently serves as Head Of Finance at Altaaqa Alternative Solutions since March 2019. Prior to this role, Mohamad was Finance Manager at Arabian Vehicles & Trucks Industry Co. Ltd. from August 2016 to March 2019, where responsibilities included preparing financial statements and quarterly results for the parent company, Volvo. Mohamad also held the position of Chief Accountant for Zahid Tractor's affiliate companies between February 2013 and August 2016, handling financial accounting and IFRS compliance. Earlier experience includes working at EY as a Qualified Assistant and Senior Accountant, overseeing audit teams and client interactions. Academically, Mohamad holds an MBA from the University of Southern Queensland and ACCA qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
