Nikica Marinkovic

Nikica Marinkovic is an experienced entrepreneur and project manager, currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Altaboxa LLC, a sustainable eco-packaging startup since August 2019, focusing on exporting products to the EU and UAE markets. With a strong background in project management, Nikica held the role of Senior Project Manager at BioSense Institute from November 2022 to May 2024, emphasizing data platform development in the AgTech sector. As a co-founder of Box system LLC from March 2017 to January 2024, Nikica aimed to tackle pollution through sustainable packaging solutions, and previously founded Zelenoo.com, a web service connecting local farmers and consumers. Earlier experience includes project management at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED), where Nikica focused on municipal economic development and business-friendly initiatives. Educational qualifications include a degree in agricultural engineering from the University of Novi Sad, alongside specialized training in plastics in agriculture and Mediterranean agronomic studies.
