Amira Elmasry

Amira Elmasry has extensive work experience in the field of language and translation. Amira is currently working as a Localization Project Manager at Altagram Group - Game Localization since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Translator for an unidentified company from 2013 to 2021.

From 2015 to 2019, Amira worked at Goethe-Institut e.V. as a Project Coordinator. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating the Litrix.de translation grant program and managing the communication between German and Arab publishers, authors, and translators. Amira oversaw the entire translation process, from acquiring rights and contracts to ensuring the quality of the final translation.

Between 2016 and 2018, Amira worked as a Translator at TransPerfect. Amira also served as a Copyeditor at The American University in Cairo Press and Bookstores from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Web Search Evaluator at Appen from 2010 to 2014.

Prior to that, they obtained an Allgemeine Hochschulreife (Abitur) from Deutsche Schule der Borrmomäerinnen in an unspecified year.
