Sofía Brenner Fernández (She/her)

Sofía Brenner Fernández has a diverse work experience in various roles related to localization, language assistance, and translation. Sofía works as a Localization Project Manager at Altagram Group - Game Localization since 2022. Prior to that, she was a Localization PM & Coordinator Assistant at Alocai from January 2022 to May 2022. From October 2020 to May 2021, Sofía worked as a Spanish-English Language Assistant at Gesamtschule Lippstadt. Sofía also served as an intern at Universidad de Málaga from November 2019 to June 2020. Sofía also has experience as editorial translator at Asociación Juvenil Intercambia and Librería Bartleby & Co.

Sofía Brenner Fernández pursued her education in the field of translation and interpretation. From 2016 to 2020, she attended the Universidad de Málaga, where she completed a degree in Translation and Interpretation. In 2018, she also went on an Erasmus program at the University of Leeds, where she studied English and Literature for one year. In 2020, Sofía continued her academic journey at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where she pursued an official Master's degree in Audiovisual Translation.

Furthermore, Sofía obtained several certifications to enhance her skills and knowledge. In 2019, she achieved a Certificate in Advanced English, Grade A (C1 Level) from Cambridge Assessment English. In 2020, she completed a training course in teaching Spanish as a second language (ELE) at the Instituto Cervantes. Sofía also obtained a certification in "Herramientas para la localización y la traducción audiovisual" from Traduversia in between. Lastly, in 2023, they obtained a certification in Project Management Skills for Leaders from LinkedIn, as well as the B1 German TELC certificate.
