I started Altalux because I kept meeting skilled workers who were extraordinary at what they did and completely invisible to the outside world. Drillers with twenty-two years underground. Crane operators who could read a load in a wind. Forestry crews who showed up every morning to do work that most people will never see and couldn't imagine doing themselves.

These people are not props. They are the actual story. And most companies have never told it.

Altalux creates short, human-centred films and photography for industrial companies that want to do something honest and meaningful for their workforce. We work in mining, forestry, energy, construction, infrastructure services, and shipping. Our clients are typically Directors and VPs of HR and Communications who are tired of generic culture content and want something that reflects who their people actually are.
The work is built on three things: recognition, recruitment, and retention. When employees feel genuinely seen, they stay. When prospective hires watch a real person talk about why they've stayed for fifteen years, they want in. When partners and clients see the faces behind the operation, trust builds in a way that no brand deck can replicate.

Most projects are short profile films, two to four minutes, built around a single employee or team. Some are retirement tributes. Some support a recruitment campaign. Some simply exist to show a workforce that the company sees them. The format follows the story.
