Arlene Alikian

Arlene Alikian, MD, is a seasoned pediatrician currently serving as the Medical Director of Pediatric Utilization Management at AltaMed Health Services since June 2022. As the owner and operator of the first exclusively pediatric urgent care in Ventura County through AFTER HOURS PEDIATRICS INC, a position held since November 2005, Arlene has demonstrated a strong commitment to pediatric care. Arlene also operated Alikian MD Locums from 2016 to 2020, gaining extensive experience across various pediatric practices in Southern California and fostering positive relationships with staff. Previous experience includes an 11-year tenure as a pediatrician at Thousand Oaks Pediatrics from 2003 to 2014. Arlene completed a Pediatric Residency at Children's Hospital Oakland and holds an MD from UCLA, along with a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Psychology/Psychobiology from the same institution.
