Arturo Castro has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at AIDS Healthcare Foundation as an Affinity Groups Manager, where they oversaw the development of programming, guided internal operations, and built client relationships. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2019, they were an Intern at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, conducting research and designing educational engagement programs. Arturo also has experience as a Tutor at Better Grades Now Tutoring Services, an Administration-Tour Management at Pacific Crest Youth Arts Organization, and a Program Director at TCHS Band and Color Guard. In addition, they worked as a Summer Clinic Staff member at Fred J Miller INC, where they mentored students and executed curriculum. Currently, Arturo is working as a Sr. Community Affairs Specialist at AltaMed Health Services.

Arturo Castro attended Chaffey College from 2015 to 2018, although they did not earn a degree during this time. Afterward, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, with a minor in History, at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Additionally, Arturo holds a certification known as the CALIFORNIA BASIC EDUCATIONAL SKILLS TEST (CBEST), which was obtained at Pearson VUE.
