Cecile Maria Vazquez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Cecile Maria has worked at various organizations, starting with their role as an AltaMed Health Scholar at AltaMed Health Services in 2023. Prior to that, they held positions as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and a Certified Phlebotomist (CPT1) & MA at Keck Medicine of USC from 2015 onwards.

In 2022, Cecile worked as a Research Analyst and later as a Team Lead Researcher at Keck Graduate Institute until May 2023. Before that, they served as the Health & Education Director at Uncommon Good Non-Profit Organization starting in October 2020.

Cecile Maria Vazquez completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at California State University, Los Angeles from 2008 to 2016. Cecile Maria then pursued a Master of Applied Life Sciences at Keck Graduate Institute, specializing in Bioprocessing, Technologies for Biomarker and Discovery, and Biomedical Sciences. Cecile Maria completed their master's degree in 2020. Additionally, Cecile has obtained certifications in Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens and Environmental, Health and Safety Certifications (BEAC) from Keck Medicine of USC, obtained in April 2021 and July 2015 respectively. Furthermore, they hold a certification as a HIPAA Professional (HIPAAP) from Keck Medicine of USC, although the specific date of when it was obtained is unknown.
