Colleen Rivas

Colleen Rivas has a diverse work experience. Colleen began their career as a Medical Administrative Assistant at Prime Care Physicians in 2017, where they performed general office duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and performing clerical tasks. Colleen worked there until 2021.

In 2020, Colleen joined AltaMed Health Services as a Project Intern, where they actively participated in various projects relating to public health and civic engagement. These projects focused on environmental health, chronic disease prevention, and youth empowerment. Colleen then progressed to the role of Consultant in 2021, working until 2023. Finally, Colleen assumed the position of Project Coordinator at AltaMed Health Services from February 2023 onwards. No end date is available for their current role.

Colleen Rivas earned their Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of California, Merced, a four-year program that they completed from 2013 to 2017. Building on their undergraduate education, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at California State University, Northridge, specializing in Public Health. Colleen is expected to complete their graduate studies in 2024, after a two-year program starting in 2022.
