Daniel Diaz serves as the Medical Director of Sports Medicine and Program Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship at AltaMed Health Services since July 2020, in addition to being a Sports Medicine Physician and Residency Faculty. Since July 2019, Daniel holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor Medicine at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Prior experience includes serving as a Resident Doctor at Loma Linda University Medical Center from July 2016 to June 2019. Daniel founded and coordinated the Mentorship Program for the Latino Medical Student Association at Western University, aimed at recruiting students interested in serving the underserved. Additionally, Daniel has held various leadership positions within LMSA and the Student American Academy of Osteopathy, promoting osteopathic medicine through advocacy and organizational development. Daniel earned a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2016.
