Gustavo Garay-Ramirez

Gustavo Garay-Ramirez has a diverse work experience history. In 2022, they worked as a Community Affairs Coordinator at AltaMed Health Services. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they were a Community Outreach Associate at Communities for a Better Environment. In 2019, they worked as a Peer Mentor at the UCLA Center for Community College Partnerships (CCCP). In 2018, Gustavo had a brief role as a Camp Counselor at UCLA UniCamp. Before that, from 2017 to 2018, they served as a Research Scholar at the Undocubruins Research Program. Finally, in 2013, they had an internship opportunity at NBCUniversal Media, LLC.

Gustavo Garay-Ramirez began their education in 2014 at Cerritos College, where they pursued a Geography AA-T degree. Gustavo attended Cerritos College until 2016. In 2017, Gustavo enrolled at UCLA and studied Geography and Chicana/o Studies, completing their education there in 2020.

During their time at UCLA, Gustavo also participated in a Virtual Venture in Management program at Harvard Business School in 2020, and attended the University of Southern California for a Political Science & International Relations (POIR) Predoctoral Summer Institute in the same year.

In addition to their formal education, Gustavo obtained a certification in Social & Behavioral Human Research from the CITI Program, a Division of BRANY, in January 2018.
