Foot And Ankle Surgeon At Altamed Medical Group at AltaMed

Jaminelli Banks has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare and academia. Starting in 2005, they worked as a researcher at The National Institutes of Health until 2007. Jaminelli then interned at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine & Temple Foot and Ankle Institute from 2007 to 2011. From 2012 to 2019, they worked as an adjunct professor at Midwestern University and Grand Canyon University. During this time, they also served as a clinical research fellow at CARL T. HAYDEN VA MEDICAL CENTER and as a professor of biology at Paradise Valley Community College. In 2016, they became a foot and ankle surgery resident physician at PHOENIX VA MEDICAL CENTER, a position they held until 2019. Jaminelli then moved on to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and worked as a surgical/clinical fellow from 2019 to 2020. In the same year, they joined Adventist Health White Memorial as faculty/staff and staff podiatrist, as well as AltaMed Health Services as a foot and ankle surgeon.

Jaminelli Banks obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from The University of New Mexico, which they attended from 2001 to 2014. In addition, they pursued a Doctor of Podiatry Medicine degree from Temple University, Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, specializing in Podiatric Medicine/Podiatry from 2007 to 2011.
