Stewart Hamblen has a diverse and impressive work experience in the military and related fields. Stewart began their career as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer and Commander in the US Army in 2001, where they received extensive training and gained hands-on experience in removing explosive hazards from various environments.

After their EOD role, Hamblen joined the 20th CBRNE Command as a Nuclear Disablement Team Member, specializing in disabling and neutralizing foreign adversary nuclear weapon production facilities. This assignment provided him with unique training in nuclear fuel cycle, radiation safety, and detector operation.

In 2004, Hamblen became a member of the US Army's Counter Proliferation Team, specializing in nuclear science and engineering. Stewart later served as the Team Leader of a highly specialized Nuclear Disablement Unit, responsible for coordinating training with Department of Energy laboratories and determining the operational status of nuclear weapon production facilities.

In 2008, Hamblen transitioned to the role of a Counter Proliferation Officer in the US Army, where they focused on nuclear fuel cycle, nuclear weapon design and effects, radiation effects and detection, and CBRNE operations. During this time, they also served as a Functional Area 52 officer and acquired knowledge in CBRNE forensics and counter proliferation methods.

In 2015, Hamblen joined the Defense Threat Reduction Agency as the Division Chief for the Defense Nuclear Weapons School. In this role, they provided leadership and management oversight to over 60 employees and service members, ensuring the delivery of mission-critical training and education courses related to nuclear weapons security and global deterrence.

Hamblen's work experience also includes roles as an Operational Planner with USSOCOM, a Senior Training and Educational Development Specialist in the US Military, an Instructor at the Defense Nuclear Weapons School, and a DARPA Fellow at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

Most recently, in 2020, Hamblen joined Altamira Technologies Corporation as a Data Analyst, where they are engaged in technically challenging projects and collaborates with intelligent and technically proficient colleagues.

Throughout their career, Hamblen has demonstrated strong leadership, managerial skills, and expertise in complex technical topics related to national security, nuclear science, CBRNE operations, and counter proliferation methods.

Stewart Hamblen has a diverse education history that spans several institutions and fields of study. Stewart received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from Northern Michigan University from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Michigan from 1994 to 1996. In 1997, they continued their education at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where they obtained another Master of Science (MS), this time in Mechanical Engineering, completing their studies in 2001.

In 2008, Stewart Hamblen enrolled at the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Nuclear Engineering until 2010. Additionally, in 2017 and 2018, they attended Central New Mexico Community College, earning a certificate in Rapid Design and Prototyping.

In terms of certifications, Stewart Hamblen obtained the "Learning Python" certification from LinkedIn in October 2020. Stewart also completed the EMT Basic certification from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management in October 2010. Finally, they have a certification titled "Science and Technology Intelligence Analyst Course" from the Defense Intelligence Agency, although the specific date of completion is not provided.
