James Kinnaird

James Kinnaird is an IT Administrator at AltaML. James previously worked as a DevOps Technical Analyst III at Alberta Motor Association from December 2018 to May 2019. At Alberta Motor Association, they contributed to the technology road map and made connections between daily activities and valuable deliverables for customers. James also integrated day-to-day thinking and decision-making into the mode of operation.

James has a proactive discipline to consistently produce a quality product or service with a systematic approach. James is also able to quickly understand the needs of customer requests and recommend options. James has led the team in major system issue resolution, guiding the team through complex solutions. In addition, they have designed, built, tested and maintained infrastructure automation and integration scripts that address complex process flows.

James Kinnaird has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics, Mathematics from the University of Alberta, and a Technology Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT).

They work with Danielle Gifford - Senior Manager, AltaML Applied AI Lab, Graham Erickson - Lead Machine Learning Developer, and Rich Becker - Principal Developer. James Kinnaird reports to Mike Berg, VP, Technology.
