Frederic Folwaczny

Frederic Folwaczny has extensive work experience in procurement and logistics. Frederic is currently the Head of Logistics Procurement at ALTANA AG since July 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at thyssenkrupp for eight years, where they held various positions including Head of Global Commodity Management for the Business Area Automotive Technology. Frederic also served as the Head of Global Commodity Management for the Business Area Steel Europe. Before joining thyssenkrupp, Frederic worked at thyssenkrupp Steel as a Team Leader in Purchasing Management and as a Senior Expert in Procurement Management. Frederic started their career at thyssenkrupp Steel as a Management Trainee.

Frederic Folwaczny has a Doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from TU Dortmund University, which they completed from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from TU Dortmund University, which they pursued from 2001 to 2006. Frederic also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science (Diplom-Informatiker) from the same university, which they completed between 2000 and 2006. Additionally, Frederic has a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt from thyssenkrupp Steel, but the specific date of obtaining this certification is not known.
