Chris Lowe has held the position of Director of Marketing & Community Development at AltaOne Federal Credit Union since September 2014, overseeing the Marketing & Development Department, managing CDFI grant writing, and leading branding efforts. Additional responsibilities include creating and implementing business campaigns, fostering government and community relations, and managing various internal and external events. Previous roles include Brand Manager, Interim Collections Manager, and Member Service Center Manager at AltaOne, along with senior positions in business development at Tri Counties Bank and Bank of America. Chris's extensive banking experience also includes management roles at Westamerica Bank, Wells Fargo, and Washington Mutual Bank. Key accomplishments include leading the implementation of the Zogo Finance App and achieving Certified CDFI status.

The credit union was organized as the Naval Ordnance Test Station Employees Federal Credit Union in 1947 at China Lake. Certified as a Community Development Financial Institution by the US Department of the Treasury, AltaOne’s mission is to improve the inequalities that exist in income, wealth, and access to financial solutions. Membership is open to those who live, work, worship, or go to school in Kern, Inyo, and Mono counties, as well as select communities in northern San Bernardino County.
