Carley Kirk has a diverse range of work experience. Carley began their career in 2007 as a Registered Dental Hygienist & Clinic Supervisor at InGrace Dental Clinic. In 2012, they transitioned to the Michigan Health Council where they worked as a Program Services Coordinator, focusing on marketing, communications, and assisting healthcare professionals. The following year, they moved to the Michigan Chapter - American Academy of Pediatrics as a Program Manager, responsible for organizing medical education and certification trainings. Carley Kirk pursued their education starting from high school and continued to obtain a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Health Education from the University of Michigan-Flint, where they studied from 2002 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Dental Hygiene/Hygienist from Mott Community College, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. Carley completed their high school education at Goodrich High School from 1998 to 2002.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Carley Kirk also holds additional certifications. Carley obtained the Certified Health Education Specialist certification from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing in December 2012. Carley also obtained knowledge and skills in the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) through a program at the University of Michigan.
