Dev Kittur

As a Senior Vice President of Operations, Dev is responsible for the Steelmaking, Bar Mill, Heat Treatment Facility, Shipping, Yard Services, Quality Assurance, Maintenance and Engineering. The primary focus is to safely produce the product of best quality and lowest cost.

Dev has been with AltaSteel since June 2013 and has 20+ years of prior experience in Projects, Engineering,Operations Maintenance of Integrated Steel Plants and power generating plants. Dev has worked in both India and Canada. His experience spans in Blast furnaces, Basic Oxygen Steelmaking, Gas based Cogeneration plants and turbines.

Operating a diverse and complex process in a dynamic and competitive business environment is a great challenge. With a highly dedicated team, having a strong positive attitude makes the work always enjoyable.

Dev holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Shivaji University in India.
