Brandon Kashfian

Brandon Kashfian has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Brandon began their career in 1993 as a Research Associate in the Division of Medical Oncology, Section of Biochemical Pharmacology at City of Hope. In 1997, they moved to J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (First Chicago Capital Markets) as an Investment Banking Associate. In 2000, they became a Venture Capital Associate at William Blair Capital Partners LLC. In 2003, they joined Ovation Pharmaceuticals as Director of Business Development, a role they held until 2009 when they moved to Lundbeck as Director of Business Development & Licensing. In 2011, they became Founder, President, and CEO of AltaThera Pharmaceuticals, and in 2019 they assumed the role of Founder & Chief Business Officer at the same company.

Brandon Kashfian attended Colby College from 1989 to 1993, graduating with an AB, Phi Beta Kappa. Brandon then attended The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine from 1995 to 1996. In 2002, they attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Brandon also attended Northwestern University in 2002, graduating with a Master of Science (MS) in Neurobiology & Physiology.
