Joe Farke

Joe Farke is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience at Altec since June 2008, currently serving as the Process Improvement Supervisor. Farke manages continuous improvement initiatives across Altec Service, supporting over 49 locations in North America and the Caribbean, while focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. Prior roles include International Manufacturing Engineer Liaison, responsible for overseas assembly plants and the development of supply chains, and Manufacturing Engineer roles where significant contributions to process optimization and cost savings were achieved. Earlier experience includes research and prototyping at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and the Air Force Research Laboratory, where Farke focused on aerospace technology and structural components. Farke holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota Mines.
