Tay Johnson

Tay Johnson is a skilled professional with diverse experience in human resources, management, and customer service. Currently serving as a Human Resources Information System Specialist at Altec since December 2022, Tay oversees the HRIS, ensuring optimal functionality and supporting various HR operations. In addition, Tay is the founder of Homer P's Soul Food Cafe, a venture inspired by family heritage. Previous military service as a United States Air Force Veteran involved leading security force activities, and prior administrative support as Assistant to the CEO at Altec Industries/PangeaTwo enhanced organizational efficiency. Tay's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Systems Security and an ongoing pursuit of a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
