Andres Pinilla de Blas has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, currently serving as the Director of Product R&D for both pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors at Grupo Alter since September 2012. Prior to this role, Andres worked at Laboratorios Alcalá Farma S.L. for nearly a decade, where responsibilities included Senior Advisor and Strategic Product Development, and Director of Scientific Affairs, overseeing product development encompassing formulation, regulatory, and clinical aspects. Additional positions at Laboratorios Alcalá included Director of Operations, where oversight of manufacturing and engineering was provided, and Manager of Product Development, focusing on galenic, analytical development, and stability. Early career experience included leadership roles at Laboratorios Wellcome, managing both developmental and quality control laboratories. Andres holds a degree in Chemistry from Complutense University of Madrid.
